The best electric fans with a stand are the floor standing fans as these have a large stand and can be stood almost anywhere that you like. This means that you can have the fan where you do not have any desk space and also have it at your exact level as you can adjust it to your height.
The floor standing fans also usually have lots of features to make them more effective at cooling you down. They can often oscillate and so send cool air in many directions and they also often have several speed settings so that you can choose just the right amount of cooling power.
